Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was born into a theatrical family her father was the playwright, Romulus Linney. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow and then earned her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. in New York City in 1990. The actress began performing on Broadway immediately, eventually receiving high praise for her performance as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
