Mary started her career as a photographer for the Architectural Digest under Paige Rense. Then she started her private Mary Finds category. The section featured videos that were shown on how to decorate and renovate your house. After returning to Texas she started a business with the same name, which is a specialist in antiques. A&E Television producer noticed her while she ran her antiques business, and asked her to take part in Texas Storage War. The show ran three seasons. The fifth season was her fame led to her being cast in Storage Wars. Storage Wars seasons 5-12 have had her appearing on and off of the show.
